About the TSHG
Presentation
The Tunisian Society of Human Genomics (TSHG) is a learned society founded in 2024. It brings together researchers, clinicians and healthcare professionals to promote human genomics in Tunisia.
The TSHG works towards the integration of genomic medicine into the healthcare system, the development of research and training, and the international scientific outreach of Tunisia.
Our objectives
- Promote scientific research in human genomics in Tunisia.
- Encourage the integration of genomic medicine into the Tunisian healthcare system.
- Develop training and strengthen the skills of healthcare professionals and young researchers in genomics.
- Foster national and international cooperation and scientific partnerships in genomics.
- Raise awareness among the public and decision-makers of the ethical, social and medical issues of human genomics.

The Tunisian Society of Human Genomics (TSHG) is a non-profit learned society, founded in 2024 and governed by its official statutes.
It is registered with the National Business Register (RNE) and has a declared registered office, ensuring its legal status and transparency.
